So it begins!

After a season filled with club wide success, it is now time to reset, refresh and take on 2019. The 2018 winter season saw a successful campaign from our womens HV division who made it to the big dance to be out done by 1 goal against a very experienced Melb Uni. A result that the club is very proud of and resulted in a league promotion. The PWHA Monday night comp has become a feature of weekly hockey and will continue to be a part of the hockey roster as we move forward. Our junior section continues to grow and is now producing a consistent flow through to seniors. Many young men and women played their first senior games and did so with confidence. This is an exciting journey to be a part of and the future id looking bright at Frankston. With most junior teams making finals, it was an exciting year to watch from the sidelines. The U16 mixed shield team also went through to the grand final, They played very well but were unable to get the win. Our men continue to develop as a squad and this is reflected by the way they have handled themselves through some recent tough seasons. Moving to VL2 is a healthy move for their on and off field mindset and will allow us to continue to progress we have been working for. The Masters continue to give merit to their title and if you get the time, Get down to Dandenong and watch a great grade of hockey played by some of the clubs longest serving players. Jball and Hockey 6s were a smash hit and we look forward to working with HV to make this an ongoing program to grow social hockey in the states south. A very big thank you to all players, members, parents and supporters who pitched in. You are the amazing people who make it all possible every year. Regards, FHC Committee.
